Camping isn’t over in autumn and there are alot of beautiful days left to enjoy the fresh air. There are many days in September and October that are still quite warm and sunny. Enjoy this wonderful weather while it lasts….winter arrives so quickly!

-Evenings maybe frisky but there’s nothing better than relaxing around a bon fire with a warm blanket and a sweet hot chocolate.

-Prices often go down during this time since there are less people and that school has started. Therefore, the best places become available.

-Bring warm blankets or heating blankets/beds since the evenings and nights can be quite chilly and humid. For your camping experience to be successful, you must plan ahead.

-Bring hearty and warm meals like chili, stew and chicken soup etc…these foods are comforting and easy to heat up and eat in a large cup.

-Camping in autumn gives us a beautiful site with all the changing colours. Take long walks and enjoy the scenery.

-During this season there are a lot less insects, and that’s something that we appreciate for sure.

-If your one of those people that enjoy calmness and tranquility then autumn is one of the best seasons to go out and relax and see wildlife.

-Don’t neglect autumn and dare camp later in the season. You will love the experience!
