SIMPLE AND TASTY MEAL WHILE CAMPING

When camping,  meals should not be too complicated since we are there to enjoy ourselves, therefore here are a few ways to help simplify your life.

 

There are many choices to succeed an amazing meal while camping. Don’t limit yourself to hot dogs and hamburgers. Everything is possible and whether you cook on a bonfire, oven, cooktop or the BBQ.

Breakfast ideas:

-omelets (add vegetables and ham

-eggs/potatoes/bacon/ham

-oatmeal (add nuts and fresh fruits)

-breakfast sandwich

 

Lunch or supper ideas:

-Beef with vegetables in a crock-pot

-Crock-pot chili

-Steak with potatoes and vegetables (in an aluminum pouch drizzled with spices and olive oil. All done on the BBQ

-Roasted chicken on the BBQ or oven with green beans and rice

-chicken or any other kind of meat wrap with cheese and fresh vegetables accompanied with a pasta salad.

-home made pizza

-fresh pasta with parmesan and rosé sauce

-Fish with roasted asparagus

-Beef skewers with mixed vegetables (on the grill or in the oven)

-Home made soup brought in mason jars

-meat sausages with a Caesar salad

 

Let your imagination run free and use whatever is left in the refrigerator, sometimes the resources are far when we go camping so getting provisions might be a little difficult. The important thing is to enjoy yourself and to not take it too seriously. Bon appétit!
